PongSuper

Hello everyone! Some time ago, I heard that when you're making your first game, you should start with something simple — like Pong. And that's exactly how I created Pong Super! using GameMaker Studio 2. Yes, it's my first game, and yes, it’s Pong… but Super! With explosions, fire, and wormholes!

Right now, the game is pretty simple, but it’s fun enough to enjoy with friends. It features a single-player mode, where you bounce a plain ball off the edge of the table — just like real ping pong. But it’s in the 1 vs 1 mode that things really shine! Here, the ball can suddenly turn into a bomb(yes the explosion is the one from deltarune)… or catch fire!

The game currently has a few bugs that I haven’t figured out how to fix yet — and I’m not sure I ever will, since I’m still learning the ropes.

Controls

• Use arrow keys or WASD to navigate menus
• Press Z to confirm
• Press F4 to toggle fullscreen

Single Player

• Move using either WASD or arrow keys

1 vs 1

• WASD controls Player 1 (the blue character)
• Arrow keys control Player 2 (the red character)
• Player 1 uses Left Shift + direction to dash
• Player 2 uses Numpad 0 + direction to dash

Controller support

Both players use the same layout:

• Left stick to move or navigate menus
• (X or A) to confirm
• (R2 + direction or RT + direction) to dash
• (Options or Start) to open the pause menu
